A has opened up about how her dream wedding quickly turned into a disaster. Jade Jensen, 27, had carefully prepared for her March making sure to organise the DJ, catering, and accommodation well in advance. The paramedic turned project manager is no stranger to stress, and is well used to planning ambitious events.
However, she couldn't have foreseen the chaos that erupted on erupted on her big day, which all began when her bailed on her with just two weeks notice as she couldn't get the time off work. Little did Jade know at this point that her problems were only just getting started.

On reflection, Adelaide bride Jade believes she should have taken the week off before the big day. However, the mining industry professional was still busy finalising a work project while wrapping up wedding prep and didn't feel able to clock off.
Then, on the morning of her wedding, disaster struck again when, while popping open a swish bottle of champagne, she accidentally launched the cork directly at her own forehead at close range. Jade told the Mail Online: "I was unwinding the cage and I was too busy talking and sort of looked down briefly and it's popped [hitting] me right in the forehead, which wasn't great."
Unfortunately, as she scrambled to save herself from getting an "egghead" before walking down the aisle, things took yet another turn. Jade recalled: 'I ran over to the freezer to get an ice pack because I was worried - I just didn't want an egghead. The makeup artist who was a nurse as well, she told me to take a Nurofen.'
"I went over to my medicine cabinet and I just picked up this, like, silver packet and popped two [pills]. It wasn't until a minute later I came back, and I was like, 'Oh my gosh, what have I done?'"
Instead of Nurofen, frantic Jade had in fact taken two Restavit tablets, a strong antihistamine that can result in serious drowsiness - the last thing any bride-to-be wants ahead of a day of joyful wedding celebrations.
Jade burst into tears, and desperately tried to vomit the tablets back up. Sadly, this didn't do the trick and Jade had to battle to stay awake for the 4pm ceremony.
Then, when the time finally came to say 'I do', poor Jade found herself facing mayhem yet again, this time on account of the antics of her excitable dog, Sassy.
Jade remembered: "She was so excited to see me, but she walked around the back of me and stood on my three metre veil and it ripped out the back of my head as I was walking down the aisle.
The canine then decided to put on even more of a show for guests by going for a 'number two' as they were just about to say their vows. "I just laughed, because that's just so her, she just loves causing chaos.
"Now I'm just glad I didn't book the honeymoon straight after it because I've needed two weeks of rest at home after all of that chaotic energy."
Now, Jade has opened up about her ordeal in a TikTok video, which has clocked up some 2.3 million views and counting. And many of those wincing away in the comments have expressed their sympathies.
One user wrote: "Hahaha well it can symbolize that your marriage will be full of laughs & wild memories".
Looking on the bright side, another commented: "Drama makes good stories."
